Back to School Fair: The Back-to-School Fair, which started in 2003, is a community wide old fashioned fair held in Falls Park located in the center of Pendleton.  The mission of the fair is to raise money to buy backpacks and school supplies for the children participating in the free and reduced lunch program in the South Madison School Corporation.

Since it's beginning, the Back-to-School Fair has raised enough money to provide free backpacks and school supplies to thousands of children.  Providing these supplies takes a tremendous burden off these families and allows the children to start off the school year on the right foot.  Excess funds from the Back-to-School Fair are used to purchase new clothes and shoes distributed through Outfitters, a nonprofit store that provides free clothing to these children.

Blood Drives: Coordinate with Indiana Blood Center to plan the timing and details of 2 blood drives per year. Contact: Connie Cookman at ext. 207 or connie@pendcc.org.

Christmas Ministry: Coordinate with local schools and other churches to provide gifts to families in need. Contact: Patty Hinton 765-778-7641.

Fall Creek Retirement Worship: A musician is needed to accompany & sing hymns in the worship experience provided to residents on the 5th Sundays of months (4 per year). Backup teachers are also needed. Contact: Lowell and Margaret Blackwell 765-778-7413.

Food Drives: Leaders needed to raise awareness and collect food items to support the local food bank in the Ingalls Methodist church. Goal is two drives per year. Contact: Linda Breaux 765-635-0293.

White’s Family Services:  White's Family Services is a therapeutic Christian based Foster Care Agency.  White’s foster parents receive training in therapeutic parenting to help them meet the specific needs of the children in their care.
